OUR PROCESS
PROGRAMING - Needs and Dreams
In our initial meeting, we’ll work together and create a detailed design brief to determine your needs and wants, understand your style direction and vision for the outcome. It’s important for us to see through your eyes if we want to create something you love.
PRELIMINARY DESIGN PHASE CONCEPT AND BUDGET
During this phase, we begin preliminary discussions with the municipality as well as ensure your home’s design meets standard building code practices. We work with you to define the best choices in materials, layout and priorities to define your budget and overall timeline to make sure the vision and the budget match expectations. Once we have a signed agreement, and a retainer to schedule our time to get started, we prepare ON-site measurements and photos are taken.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT - Decisions & details!
This process, lasting several weeks, culminates in a full design presentation, with the vision beginning to take shape. I will create a comprehensive presentation of finishes, selections, and design boards to help you visualize the overall look and feel of your project over the next4-6 weeks. Together, we are building your design from the ground up. for larger projects, we may schedule a shopping trip and 2 revisions to ensure your project is meeting your vision and is completely something you will enjoy.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND FURNITURE PROCUREMENT
After approval of the design, which is within the established budget, we turn our vision into a reality and will execute orders and delivery to our storage facility ensuring inspection and quality control. Our client’s personalized design is being made, ordered, and delivered to our receiving warehouse over the coming months. If our client is renovating or building a new home, this is where construction is taking place. Then, our full-service installation process allows you to enjoy while we set up your magazine-worthy space, complete with all the little details that make your life better and more beautiful. We take care of all the details on installation day so that you can come home to curtains hung, light fixtures installed, furnishings delivered, packaging removed, and accessories perfectly placed.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSTALLATION
MOST of our work has been completed. site visits are always done by our as a bundle. Usually, one time per week is typical for us to check in on the overall progress. We work closely with our architects, contractors and service vendors to ensure the highest quality results.This installation day might also be spread out over a few days due to the availability of the trades, so again we just need some flexibility on your part here.
